In September 2004, I started the second long-term job of my life. I was 29.

Two years ago I got divorced after almost 14 years of marriage. I bought a townhouse and embarked on a new life, truly starting over from scratch.

Now I’m 40. The week before my birthday, I gave notice at the company I’d called home for over a decade. And I’m moving on.
